Leveraged SharePoint 2016 Enterprise – SharePoint On-premise and O365 / Yammer to design and deploy large scale Intranet and Extranet enterprise applications.

Key contributions include:

• Designed, architected, deployed, installed, and configured an on premise SharePoint 2016 Enterprise multi server farm; integrated Yammer.
• Configured the default Intranet and My Site web applications.
• Extended the default Intranet to the DMZ for the Extranet which was utilized by KWH field employees.
• Designated a services server within the farm and configured the search and user profile services.
• Partnered with the communications department and created Intranet mockup designs.
• Developed responsive web pages. Branded the Intranet with these responsive web pages.
• Default Intranet, search, & my site master pages along with page layouts for sub sites within site collection.
• Deployed the following business solutions to enhance productivity within the organization:

People Search – IT Helpdesk – Dynamic Organizational Charts. Populated organizational chart data from active directory. – External login page which integrated with the LDAP and active directory, seamless access for field employees to access the internal Intranet – Document and Records Management – Collaboration sites for internal project work – Yammer – internal social network – Forms and automated workflows – Migrated network file shares to SharePoint. Integrated ITIL best practices, utilized agile and SDLC project management methodology in the deployment and delivery of Google Apps for Work for both Canada and US business units. Provided technical leadership to the team.

SharePoint 2010 and 2013 Architecture and Administration:

Key contributions include:

• Developed detailed architecture analysis and design, and direction on SharePoint 2010 & 2013 infrastructure activities.
• Examined and implemented SharePoint backup / restore solutions with the DBA and server teams, including Symantec NetBackup and out of box Microsoft SQL Server differential backup / restore.
• Led SharePoint production deployments, server version upgrades, server capacity planning, and migrations.
• Ensured compliance to best practices and standards; developed SharePoint implementation IT strategy in line with
  stakeholder objectives, while driving continuous process improvement and documentation for all processes.
• Drove efforts to resolve SharePoint 2010 and 2013 architectural/infrastructure issues.
• Managed the help desk SharePoint support tickets queue with Service Nowand assigned SharePoint support tickets
  to IT team members based on technical skill and experience, which reduced the SLA times.
